History

Known through the ages as one of the poisoner’s most effective weapons. Emperor Nero’s poisoner, Lacusta, used this plant in the brew she used to rid the Emperor of his rivals and opponents. In the 1700's it was used by doctors in very small doses as a pain reliever.
